Ministry Support Team,
Jade and I have had some spiritual highs and physical lows. Eph. 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ!
At Trinity Baptist Church's Easter Festival in Jacksonville, FL, Jade and I each led a child to Christ. I counseled with a boy whose Dad died of a heart attack recently. He is so happy to now have a heavenly Father and to be part of His family.
In the second week of April, Jade had pains in her midsection and was in danger of dehydration. She was 16 weeks pregnant, so this needed immediate attention. She went into the emergency room at about 3AM Easter morning. They identified a gall stone problem, gave her prescriptions and sent her home. The prescriptions ran out and she was in great pain again, so we were advised to go to another hospital. The gall bladder problem was confirmed by much additional testing and she was scheduled for two procedures, one to remove the stones and other to remove the entire gall bladder. Total time recovery time is expected to be about a week. She has been home and is feeling better. This was a low risk for Jade but can be risky for the baby because of the drugs used for the surgery. Praise God there was no problem for the baby.
Robert has been healthy and happy. We thank God for a beautiful boy who is not very fussy (usually). God has blessed us with Baby #2, which is due September 22nd. We do not know the sex yet because the gall bladder problem has delayed the Dr. visit for the ultrasound. We have another Dr. appointment and hope to find out then.
We are moving to Tallahassee, FL, April 30th. Please note the address and phone number change. We are glad to finally make this move and be more directly involved in church planting in the Florida panhandle area.
The schedule at Southwood Baptist Church has been adjusted to meet the need to move to another location. Pastor Sharff is planning special promotions in upcoming months to generate new contacts and see souls saved. We are glad to be part of this church planting team and are looking to Him to bless with guidance, provision and protection.
